Light Year

Take what you want
Dump the remnants in the rear.
If you don’t need it all
It’s still your call.

The less you carry
In your new ferry
Means no need to feel sorry
And further time in merry.

Delight in a light year
Coz it’s clearly a bright year.
Keep it light on heart
And bright on mind ever.

Havin' been a connoisseur of your work, I am unable to make a point blank remark as a critic. So thought the below would be a better method of putting forth my views.

Take what you want
keep the remanant before ya,
you still need 'em all,
for the remanants are what gonna keep ya away from repeating 'em all.

The less you carry
In your ferry
It sure would feel merry
But remember life aint no ferry
But a ship bound with a goal and destination,
carrying crew, cargo and passengers both sorry and merry.

You aint gonna like the responsibility,
But hey at time of trouble,
the same load extra in form of life boats, essentials,
are gonna make you handle the trouble.

Take what you want,
Keep the remanants before ya,
You still need 'em all.

Delight in the New Year,
Coz its clearly a bright year,
Again in a life long as a light year,
Keep it light on your hear, sure,
And bright on mind ever.
