Lover's Dove
On the wings of a dove
Send your love
See the world through each other’s eyes
And get convinced that everything is nice.
On the wings of a dove
Exchange your love
There is nothing to stop you now
So relax and let it grow.
On the wings of a dove
Keep sending your love
Not just today
But day after day.

Lovely ! I always love your poems for their simplicity and straighforwardness (atlease most of the time)
Simple and sweet. Its very nice!
The intent was clear and good. But u might be slightly mistaken on one small fact. Its always a homing pigeon that was used to send message and the wings are very important for the birds to travel long distances, so the messages are usually written on a scroll and then stored in a catridge which is cuffed on to one of the bird's legs, the message unlike in the movies are usually telegraphic in content. Now the catridges are air tight which prevents the message from getting destroyed when the bird passes through extreme conditions and wild under situations as such the message on the wings could get erased. And also due to the fact that writing on wings of the bird would mean attracting attention from unwanted eyes.Soo...its just using the bird to send message not damaging the wings.Hope this helps.
A bit of information like this would defenitely help in making your work more accurate, which otherwise is rich in expressions.
Thanx for the explanation of logistics involved.
