Vaiku

Haikus are popular Japanese poems that are short and sweet. I went through a few of them and tried penning a few of my thoughts too. Since i didnt follow any of Haikus rules I call them Vaikus. :)

Full Moon:
Forlorn love at its height
Still the beauty.

Burning with passion
Sensitive to eyes-
The Noon Sun.

Golden Apples:
Very dear to few
The forbidden fruit.

Snow Flakes:
All identity lost
Touched you without my permission.

A persistent lover
Disappointed at every sunset-
The Sunflower.

My lovely shawl
Black studded with diamonds-
The night sky.

Tender Breeze:
Soft-spoken liar
Whispers in ears.

Dewey rose
Fresh scented grass-
The daybreak.

Sun kisses the horizon
Blushing blue skies-
The Sunset.

The Crescent Moon:
Half-closed eyelids mesmerize
Await the total effect.

Rain Shower:
Drops slide down face
Tears go unseen.

Rose Thorns:
Unsuccessful knights
Beauty ever in danger.
