Tooth Fairy

How long we've been waiting
Masking the tension
Saying everything was fine
Though in our hearts
A doubt lingered
With a big question
Is all well?

Chit-chats with other moms
And grand moms
Offered no peace
But only a crease
Still with adamance
We decided to be patient
And let him grow at his own pace.

Then it shook a little
To make our hearts rattle
He crossed another milestone
In a relaxed manner
As he willed
Now we got the answer
'All is well'.
