Vaguely I remember
What I felt
When I was almost kissed
By the swiftness of Death.

Subtle liberation
For a second of realisation
Dominating Fear
During the time of thought materialisation.

The lightness at that moment
Made it seem good
The possibility of pain
Was sure giving the spasms of sprain.

I shuddered at the thought of the kiss
And felt happy that it was a good miss.
Seemed like it was not time yet
For me to take the bet.

Then an input came
That pain is a part of the game
Mr.D might end the game
And thus any pain.
