I have been searching
All along
Somewhere sometime I know
It got missed in the throng.

Something brewed in your eyes
Drowning me in its scintillating color
Love potion I realized in pallor.

I hang on to each word you utter
Not to miss your line of thought
Or scared if I’ll be lost.

As I stood bemused
I saw my heart slip away
Nothing to stop it what may.
