A Closed Door
If it doesn't open
It's not your door
Says who
And to whom
It's not your door
Says who
And to whom
Knowing what
Not that it's how
Things work always
Might be an offbeat connection
Is it not for the standee to decide?
If inside you, you know
You are in front of a door
That is between you
And what you are after
Will you walk away?
That door has a story
A memorable one
It's part of the journey
I can decide to wait
For the door to open
Else make it open
By whoever shut the door
Thinking it's not my route to take
Or
By mistake got themselves
Locked behind their own doing.
Turning away
Will only bring me back
I know for sure
In my heart.
